In the printer settings - Scan Tab - Option scan to network folder. I have tried entering the shared folder info in both smb and afp format. Neither is accepted by the printer. Can anyone help? Note that this is to connect the printer to a shared folder on a MAC
Thanks

Hey @Hopflys, welcome to the HP Forums!
As I understand it, you are setting up the scan to network folder and despite your efforts the shared folder info is not bring accepted. Please take a look at the following post written by @Gemini02 as the steps to set up the feature are outlined and easy to follow: Re: Setup scan to folder.

Thank you for your help on this issue. I found that inputting the authentication fields was mandatory, and that care had to exercised to eliminate any spaces from the user name. i.e. a user name on a MAC when it is displayed for logon purposes may well have a space. However, internally that user name is truncated by removing any spaces.
I was able to get the solution working both on wifi and CAT6 cable
Thank you again
