Hello everyone,
Our company has just managed to buy several MFP M426fdn printers and now we are having problems with the scan to e-mail function. The company uses a private network not connected to the internet, with an own smtp server. The printers are getting the network settings from DHCP.
We tried the printers connected to internet, with a freshly created gmail account and it works flawlessly with the smtp settings even with aouthentication, but its not a solution we were just curious after many tries and fails with the own smtp with turned on authentication.
Right now the anonym smtp sending is enabled to the IP pool of the printers (this option will be suspended in the near future), and without any username and password the test e-mails do arrive, but after we turn on the smtp authentication (of course the username and pw is correct becouse the account is in use) the scan to e-mail test fails and says that the username or password is incorrect.
We are and must be using port 25, and no SSL, and the password must be at least 9 characters long and must contain numbers and at least one capital and non capital letters.
It would be great if someone could help us.
Thanks in advance!

Already tried that before posting, sorry that I didn't mention. I doesn't help. Already tried wireshark with a laptop connected with a hub to find out what does it sends to the server but the password was enrypted during the communication.
