What type of memory stick (like example 3.0) fits into my hp8610 all in one printer. I want to scan documents into it

USB devices are backwards compatible, so you can safely insert a USB 3.0 device, it will just work at the fastest supported speed of the port up to 3.0. Normal standard is 3.0 ports should have a blue center. If not it will be a USB 2.0 connector. In terms of drive capacity, the owners guide does not state. Personally I would stick to a stick 64Gb or smaller. If you have a larger one, try it first to see.
