Missing scan-from-computer app.

When first installed, there was an app on my computer that allowed scanning, viewing of ink levels, etc. of my HP OJP 8620 from the computer console.  After moving to Windows 10 and installing an HP recommended software update, that app is gone.  How do I get it back?

The Full Feature Software is still around - this is the "full service" printer software.

The software is five years old at this writing, but may still be compatible with the latest versions of Windows 10.

If the software was already removed / loaded (find it in Programs and Features) and

If the printer software is not working,

then

It will likely be necessary to scrub out all traces of the software before installing the fresh copy.

I will post that instruction if asked - the process is not difficult, just several steps.

Adobe Reader DC – Needed Whether You Use It or Not

If you have not done so,

Reinstall / Update your PDF Reader (Adobe Reader DC /Optional  Foxit Reader)

HINT:  Watch out for and UNCHECK unwanted extra software

Adobe Reader DC software should be installed even if you do not open / view / print PDF files directly from the software.
