For the past five days I have had an issue with trying to attach a new file to send via mobile fax. When I open the HP Smart app there is already a file attached to send and it will not let me delete it. It is the last file that I sent via mobile fax. I have checked that my laptop is up to date (it is), that the printer driver/firmware is up to date (it is) and have uninstalled and installed the HP Smart app three times.

@ngbwb, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to send a fax via the HP Smart app.

 

To use the mobile fax feature, follow the steps mentioned in this document - Faxing from the HP Smart app

 

If the issue persists, as you have tried reinstalling the app, 

  • I've sent you a private message with further instructions to resolve this issue.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
