Hello, my issues is big because i need it now! I dont use the printer very often so it shoulb be like new and unfortunately I dont have anymore warranty. First, im not able to print at all, it looks like it printing, sounds like its printing but the page comes out clean, ive tried both to print in color and black and nothing happens. Ink levels are good, i went on the screen to where it says TOOLS and did a CLEAN CARTRIDGES process twice and nothing, the page is still blank.
Second, it cant be found on my Mac nor my phone, Ive restarted it but it didnt help.
Please help!
Thanks

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂
I understand that you have an HP ENVY 4512 All-in-One Printer and it does not print, scan and copy. Also, the printer is not discover able on the network to your Mac or phone. You have done a remarkable job in troubleshooting this issue.
Not to worry, I'll be glad to assist you with this case.
It is quiet possible that the ink cartridges are dried out. I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
- Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
Please perform the following step from this HP document to clean the ink cartridges manually: https://hp.care/2JfcTot
- Step 12: Manually clean the area around the ink nozzles.
Once you have cleaned the ink cartridges manually, you align the printer as discussed in "Step 11: Align the printer".
If the printing does not happen then you might have to replace the ink cartridges and check. If the ink cartridge are left unused then there is a chance of the ink drying out.
You may download and install the firmware update for your printer via this link: https://hp.care/2JfpOXE
NOTE: The printer needs to be restarted after the firmware is successfully installed.
This firmware update addresses an intermittent connectivity issue when using Secure AirPrint (This is used in Mac OS to print from your printer).
You may follow the steps from this HP document to add your printer as an Airprint printer in Mac OS: https://hp.care/2vekvly
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know how it goes.
All the best! 🙂
