Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I was in the process of scanning a  page on HP Officejet Pro 8600. Never had a problem with this inset printer before. It did not connect and gave me the error message -21345. I looked up solutions on the web and first I reset the printers. This did not work. Then I followed another post (disconnect the power cord, the USB cable, hold the power button for 30 seconds, plug

the power cord in the wall outlet and then into the printer). it does not turn on. No matter what  I do, the printer does not turn on. So I cannot even add it to the printer list. What can I do?

Hi @Tudor6,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that your Printer is not powering on.

- Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain on the printer.

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall outlet directly, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

- Update the printer firmware by clicking on this link if the printer turns on.

- If the issue still persists, try with an alternate power cable that is compatible with your printer.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day

Thank you for the instructions. I did everything except taking out the cartridges. I cannot take them out because the printer is not on so I do not have access to them. They should be on the left hand side but now they are on the right hand side under the screen control panel and I cannot reach them. I still could not get power on the printer
