My Officejet Pro 8600 won’t scan after installing new drivers. It shows a message “waiting for scanner”, and it never finds the scanner.

  1. What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone?
  2. How is the printer connected to your device Wifi or USB?
