My Photosmart 8100 automatically saves individual images after scanning a colour negative strip but when scanning slides in the cartridge supplied it will save only a single image showing all four slides in the cartridge. The images of each slide are therefore extremely small and lose definition when magnified. Why the difference between the two types of scan?
