Product: HP OfficeJet 4652

Help! Our fax line on our Hp OfficeJet 4652 has been dialing 911. This has happened both last Saturday and Sunday. Our office is closed and the owner had to meet the Sheriffs Department at the office. I called phone company on Monday they said they would fix the line and it was supposed to be corrected at the end of the day on Tuesday. I waited till yesterday afternoon to replug in the printer/faxer/scanner/copier so I could get work done. The owner then again got another call last night from the Sheriffs Department, the fax line again called 911. This was way past the office hours where again no one was in the office. My machine is now unplugged and I am on the verge of buying a new one. Has this happened to anyone else? Any way of fixing this issue? My machine is not even 2 years old yet.

Hi.

A fax will not dial any number unless such a number may wrongly have been dialed by a user.

 

From the home screen tap Fax > Reports > Print Fax Reports > Last 30 Transaction Fax Logs, this will print a list of the last 30 transactions

 

May you see any such activity as the main number, or maybe as a wrongly added prefix to any other number?
