Please use a computer to format your SD card as FAT32 format and try again.

Hi,
Thanks for your advice.
I have just completed a FAT32 formatting, and unfortunately, the card is still not being recognised, the display just shows insert SD card into slot, or words to that effect.
Thanks.

Please try a REAL SD card with 16GB. It should accept higher than 16GB but I think the micro SD card (with adapter) may cause few problems.
Regards.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, and advice.
I have been out this morning, and purchased a new Sandisk 16GB full card, just got home formatted it, inserted into the printer, pressed the SCAN icon, and received the message, "Please insert SD card into slot", I removed it, re-inserted and received the same message. Frustrated isn't the word!
I may go back to P C World, where I bought it from, and see what they say. I could alternatively, contact HP Support by phone, but on past experience, I will probably have to earmark half a day to sort it.
Thanks.

Hi,
I did what I said I would do, and took it back to PC World, and they cured the problem, When I got home and tried to set it all up again, I have hit another problem!!!
I have had to go through the process of adding a printer, I managed to get it set up onto Wi-Fi, but when I came to make it my default printer, I was asked to enter the WPS PIN number, adding I can find it on the printer, of with the documentation that came with it, well, I can find it in neither place. So my question is, where do I find this number, or is there any way to override the request. I am getting so frustrated, doing what has always been a simple enough task previously.
Any help or advice appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
