It's simple, when I intend to scan a document that I want to save to a USB drive, I insert the USB drive into the printer, then select scan and USB drive on the printer.  But the printer continutes to ask for a USB drive to be inserted, never recognizing  that one is alreay in.  Does anyone know how I might rectify this matter?

Thank you Banhien for your suggestion of inserting the USB drive before turning on the printer.  It made me consider simply turning the printer off then on again, which I did (without inserting the USB drive into the printer before turning the printer on).  And sure enough, when I wanted to scan a document and save it to the USB drive, it worked perfectly.  There was no further problem.  So thank you Banhien.  Your suggestion was still a help to me; it helped me to consider the tried and true method of simply turning a machine off then on again. 👍
