Hi.

See https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-Copying/Scanning-in-Adobe-using-WIA-Have-to-manually-s....

The suggested solution did not work for the original poster. I went further than that suggestion, right-clicking the default HP7A975B to edit the scan profiles.  However editing the profiles had no effect on the WIA driver which still defaults to flatbed legal. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the printer.

An additional problem is that even after changing the WIA settings to document feeder & letter, it only scans one page at a time from the feeder.  I have to scan one page at a time appending each page.

This is an old problem given the date of the thread. Can you escalate this to allow changed WIA settings to become the default for the next time, plus fix the problem of the ADF stopping on each new page?
