Product: HP Officejet 6500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - E709n

Hello Everyone,

 

I have an old HP Officejet 6500 e709n. I can print but not scan. I need to install a flash player. How do I install free flash player so I can scan my documents. I am slow/bad with technology.  Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

 

True > The old software for this printer -- that was tied to the discontinued / disabled Flash Player -- cannot fully open and is not supported.

 

The printer is not supported in Windows 11.

The printer is listed as supported in Windows 10 using the Microsoft Built-in Print Driver.

Example

Scan documents and photos: Complete scan jobs with a Windows app that works with the built-in driver.

  • Windows Fax and Scan: In Windows, search for and open Windows Fax and Scan. Click New Scan, and then select your printer.
  • Windows Paint: In Windows, search for and open Paint. Click FileFrom scanner or camera.
  • Windows Scan app: In Windows, search for and open the Windows Scan app. If it is not listed, go to Windows Scan (in English) to install it.
