Network error. Check the printer's network connection and try again.

I am trying to make my new HP OfficeJet Pro 9013 scan to a network folder with no success.

• I have both my computer and my 9013 connected to the same wired network,
• There are no username/password needed to access the folder
• The folder is seen and accessible by other computers on the same domain.

No matter what i am trying to do, I always gives me the "Network error. Check the printer's network connection and try again." message

If I am typing the folder name incorrectly, i am being stopped on an earlier phase in the process... 

A previous 8720 connected to the same computer/network had no issue

BTW, scan to computer (other than scan to network folder) does not seem to work either

Other printing features work as expected

Most HP products will not support scanning to a folder where no credentials are required due to the major lack of security that type of access presents. You may have no concerns about security, but HP is strongly invested in keeping their customers secure.
