Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

With MAC OS 10.13 I receive the following message when trying to use network scanning:

"Cannot write to \\192.168.1.4\My Scans. Destination folder is read-only, has the wrong permissions, or is no longer available."

 

Doing forum research I found a couple threads that mention using 75 DPI as a workaround.

I changed from 150 DPI to 75 DPI and scanning does work.  The resolution of the documents is not acceptible.  

I just updated the firmare to date code 20180201.  Still won't allow for anything above 75 DPI.  

 

Does anyone know how I can scan with higher resolution to a MAC OS 10.13 device?

Could you please provide me with the same pre-release fix? I bought this machine last week with the main purpose of scanning documents to my Mac, only to find out that this functionality requires a PhD to set up and then doesn't even work.
