Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

When using my Windows 10 and HP Printer assistant, I always had the option of “save as” for my scans.  I could pick a folder I wanted it to go into and create the name of the file.  With new PC Windows 11 and HP app, the only option seems to be “save” and can’t designate a folder to put it in.

Hi,

By using HP Smart, only a save option would be offered by design.

 

You may download and install the Full Feature Software among the HP Printer Assistant and HP Scan application by using its latest version which is compatible with Windows 11:

As you mention Windows 11 in the operating system details, while mentioning Windows 8 in your post title, I would assume the described OS version is correct, and not the older version mentioned on its title, and my reply is accordingly, please clarify otherwise.

Windows11 is the operating system, not sure where the windows 8 came from. Thank you, I will try your suggested solution.
