Does anyone have a clue how to operate the new app? I hate it

Welcome to the HP Community --

The main difference is the "wrapper" used to manage the printer and the added features.

Instead of a single source menu where you select and click what you want, the wrapper scrolls up and down so you can select the type of service you need.

Click on your printer image to open the app to your printer -

The scan, copy, print, and other parts of the HP App are pretty much the same --

The following is not meant to change the way you feel about the change.

It is a fairly straight forward introduction of the HP App and how to make it do what you need.

 Select “Use AI Search” – Minute 2:08

 EWS (Embedded Web Server) – Minute 2:21 > Printer Settings > View all > Advanced (opens EWS)

 Reminders

• If asked enter the printer’s PIN number – The default PIN might be located on the back or inside the printer (ink access area).

 And

• “Advanced” / EWS can also be opened using your Browser:   Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
