Ok so I bought this printer today, set it all up and it prints fine. But it will not copy or scan a document. I just get a load of lines on the page. Any ideas?

@Vic79, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

This looks like a scanner failure. I'd suggest you follow the steps from the document HP Printers - Resolving Copy Problems under the section Lines or color bands in copies to isolate and resolve the issue.

 

If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
