We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

With recent updates, I have lost the ability to scan from my HP Photosmart printer Model D110a.  I have tried to re-load the disk from which I initially installed the printer.  I have also tried downloading and updating from the on-line services.  I have an HP Pavillion Elite HPE PC running Windows 7 OS.

 

What more can I do?  What else is there to do!?

I uninstalled the existing software, installed the downloaded copy of the most recent Full Feature drivers for the D110a, then re-loaded my original installation CD on top of the download, and now it appears to be working.  I can now get to the Solution Center and I assume all of the other errors are "taken care of".

 

The only thing that I did differently in this re-install was to re-load the CD over the download.

Sorry that you are having a problem scanning. 

 

Do you receive an error message when you try to scan?

 

Run the print and scan doctor and check the results.

I do receive an error message when I try to scan.  It reads - "Scan Error   Try scan from computer or see documentation.  Press OK."

 

I have run the HP Doctor and Scan files previously.  I ran them again just now and the results were the same.  They are - Device Manager (check); Driver check (check); Windows (WIA) Scan (check); Solution Center (X); HP Twain Scan (image scanned and sent to HP Doctor and Scan); Registry - Registry Error (basically states to Uninstall current software and re-install most current Full Feature software - I have tried this previously); HP Scan Flow Manager (some HP Software missing, uninstall, re-install most current Full Feature version); Digital Imaging Manager (some HP Software missing, uninstall, re-install most current Full Feature version); Front Panel Test (some HP Software missing, uninstall, re-install most current Full Feature version);  and Test Scan (could not run test scan).

 

I will uninstall and try to re-install the most current Full Feature version for the HP Photosmart D110a model and let you know what happens.  I hope that it is better than previous attempts.

Recently, my HP D110a all in one printer has been giving me the following error message when try to scan a document.

The scan can not be performed because another program or device is using  networked HP imaging device. Try again later!
