Whenever  I try to scan a document to email it, I get this message: “Printer cannot connect to web services. Server might be busy or temporarily unavailable.“ This has been happening for months now. Used to work fine. Any ideas on what to do?

@Megonzale, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

To assist you better, what model printer are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

I understand you are trying to use the Scan to email feature on the printer screen.

Did you make any changes to the settings? If not, wait for a couple of days, it might be an issue with the HP server.

Login to your associated webmail and check if it is working fine.

Restart web services

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

Perform the steps mentioned in this document and Cannot Connect to Web Services

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
