The printer is not recognizing my computer to scan, but I can print from my computer to the printer. I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled and still didn't fix the problem.

I was able to get on chat and it was the virus protection program that was stopping it through the firewall.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
It may fix the problem for you. If not, post back full error message(s).
