macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I've received an odd knew error message from HP Easy Scan software running my ScanJet Pro 3000 2s. This happened when I upgraded my iMac software to Big Sur. It was all working fine before but now I've lost function with the message, "You don't have permission to open the application "HP Scanner 4" Contact your computer or network administrator for assistance". This is very odd as I'm the sole user of this iMac. Any thoughts?

this is due to a recent security update, please follow below steps from Apple which should resolve the error:
