We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

My copies and scanned documents are now printing out "tilted".   Scanned ones also show up on my screen as tilted.    A row that is one inch from the left margin at the top of the page, ends up having its last row about a half-inch from the left margin when finished.    Printed copies directly from my latptop come out OK, so I know it is not a paper feeder problem.    I've done all the diagnostics.   And done scans via a USB and thumbdrive, with the same tilted resutls.    Any advice, or is it time for an new one (this one is 2.5 years old).  Thanks.

Maybe a separate post, usually you get better answer that way.

Is the original on the glass or fed through the ADF? If ADF, make sure adjust the guides to give the target a good hold.

Thanks for respond so quickly.   I've done it both ways; same result.

If the scans on the glass is skewed, and you are sure the document is placed straight, then I am afraid the scanner module is off track/broken. If the device is still under waranty, contact HP support to have it repaired.

Would that impact the copy function, too?

HP Recommended

Copy basically use the scanner to scan a digital image of the target, and then "print" the image. So yes, it will impact the copy function.

OK.    Thanks.  I figured that.   But at least now I know it is something not fixable by me.

P.S.   I have another question, not related to this topic, but pertaining the device.   I will make a separate request for that one, since the message heading would be different.

Or should I just keep this string going?

Shall do.    Thanks again.
