Printer has scanned to PDF correctly with moderate use for 2 years, using HP Smart app. Last week, it began capturing scans of 8 1/2 by 11 originals as 26.5 by 34.33 inch pdf documents,
I have deleted and reinstalled the HP Smart app, reset the printer and restored to factory defaults, and reinstalled the printer drivers. I have tried all settings options in HP Smart but always get too-big pdf documents.

Can you download and install the HP FULL Solution Software for your operating system:
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
