OfficeJet Pro 8023 scanner head slams into the side and skips teeth

I got this printer form my sister and she said it didn’t work after powering up the scanner head started slamming into the side of the printer but on the first attempt it stopped and the printer printed a page but on the second power on the printer slammed the scanning head even harder so i pulled the plug on it

Any idea on what to do ?

I also have a video which shows what it does but not sure how to send it here.
