We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

The HP Doctor app successfully scanned a document, but when I use HP Smart to make a scan the pages come out in the wrong order

Using HP Smart to scan document - wrong order:

Has this always been the case or is this a new issue?

 

Does HP Scan (from the printer software) scan the document as expected?

Does HP Scan and Capture work as expected?

 

If Yes, use one of these software / applications to scan the document.

 

Is the document 2-sided?

If yes, make sure you are using the ADF and set to scan 2-sided.

 

Regardless,

If you want to use HP Smart and the application won't cooperate,

If you have not done so, you can try uninstalling the app, restart and log in, install a fresh copy of the HP Smart App.

and / or

You can re-order the pages after the initial scan is complete and before you save / share the document.

 

Open HP Smart

Select to Scan Document

Set the initial scan menu options

Scan the document

After the scan is complete,

Select to Edit the document

Set the view to Tile View

Reorder the pages

Click to Save / Share
