Since I got a newer computer with Windows 10 on it, my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 says "No Computer Found" when trying to scan a document. I have done everything with the HP Smart app on Windows 10. It says the drivers are all there, and the computer recognizes the printer. I can scan from the HP Smart app but not directly from the printer window, which is where the message shows up. Does one cancel the other? I am so used to doing all scanning from the printer itself and then once it scans the scan folder would pop up and I would rename the document and be able to save as to another file folder. I guess I need to know if the printer screen can't work with scanning anymore due to the Windows 10 HP Smart app! I'm trying to give as much info as I can to get the help I need. Thanks!

Try doing a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
Did you uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App?
Also, do you've any other computer to try scanning from?
