I successfully scanned something into a PDF, with the desired 8.5x11 [inches x inches] format. However, subsequently trying to scan into a JPEG just did not work - only a portion of the page was scanned. The size, in Detailed Adjustments - Manage Images, appears "stuck" on Width 6.20 x Length 3.98. Manually entering "8.5" and "11.0", and trying to Save the changes does not appear to work. Clicking "back" and then Scan JPEG, continues to give the same, partial scan. I tried the online help, including the "Virtual Assistant - BETA", and that did not help, either. The new "Doctor" software was downloaded (?) and did not help, as well. Does anyone know how to fix this, please?

Shlomi, Mazel Tov, it works. What puzzles me is that I thought I had those settings while having problems. I'm wondering if perhaps the software got fixed - or properly updated - when the PC was completely shutdown and then rebooted. Well, it works with the settings you recommended - I tried both PDF and JPEG. Thank you! 'Nice job. Best Wishes, Dave

Hi,
From within HP Scan selet Sae as JPG and set teh scan type as Document or change the Scan Size to US Letter rather than the Auto Detect feature.
Click the disk icon to save the changes and the scan should now include the entire page and not be cropped.
Please let me know if that helps,
Shlomi
