I tried cleaning the screen with windex.

I had the same issue. I was about to pack it all up and return it and I tried your first trick and that worked great. I spent 15 minutes registering just to thank you. Lol. 🙂

Did not work for me to turn off then back on... Have cleaned glass and used canned air to ris of dust. Still one streak about in middle page when copying or scanning

@Imagehappy, do you have the 8600 plus or a different version of the 8600?

Need help.  HP OfficePro 8600 premium is leaving a black streak on copies when they are being fed through the copier for copies or faxes.  It is one year old.
