Hello, 
why do I see only the first page in documents with multiple pages scanned with Office Jet Pro 8730? When I open in Preview or Quickview under MacOS 12.3.1 I see only the first page. Following pages are white.

Which application are you using to scan?

the scan job is done from the OfficeJet but when opening in Preview app only first page is visible

No application on the Mac is used to scan. Scan comes direct out of the printer

Did you make a copy and check if the issue persists?

Update Mac OS

  1. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
  2. In the System Preferences window, click Software Update.
  3. Click Update Now or Upgrade Now.

Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates

I already updated system software, same Problem under Mac OS 12.4.

Try scanning from the computer using image capture or HP scan and check if the issue occurs.
