We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Jet Pro 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

This is a new machine and it faxed wireless fine the first time.    Then the paper stopped loading.  The screen says "doc loaded" but when it makes a connection the paper doesn't move.  I then receive error messages saying "no answer",   "communication error 344 and 322" and the machine makes noises.   I'm not plugged into a power strip as someone suggested.   As far as I know, there have not been any changes to anything.

Thank you for any help  you can give to resolve my problem.

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the paper won't load and you need help fixing it,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

There are three things you look for, to resolve the issue, that said, is the paper jammed or are you getting an error-"Paper Jam"? (Click here, if the paper is jammed).

Did you check any HP Articles regarding the fax errors you've received?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to know, Both Errors 322 & 344 points out a communication issue and here's what is recommended:

The reason for Code 322: There was a communication error with the receiving fax machine due to poor telephone line conditions.

Solution:

  • Set the receiving machine to receive at a slower transmission speed.

  • If the session fails after sending several pages of a large document, resend the document as several smaller documents.

  • Retry the fax reception when telephone line conditions have improved. Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve.

The Reason fo Code 344: The remote machine failed to respond to a fax command from the local machine because the connection was interrupted. These errors can occur if the phone lines in the area to be faxed are old or there is noise (static on the phone line). Other reasons can include power outages and other power-related problems.

Solution: Retry the fax reception when telephone line conditions have improved.

Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve.

Keep me posted,
