Am trying to scan document then send to my email, but it is giving me an error, saying cannot connect to web services. We have had this printer for about 3 years and have never had a problem. Tried unplugging and replugging in printer, to restart, but did not fix. Tried disconnecting from router and reconnecting to our internet service. Tried downloading new filmware as mentioned in previous posts, but will not let me select the printer to update. Help???

Acutally I wrote down my printers IPS address.....have to click right ICON on the printer to get that..... typed the IPS address into Google. That pulls up my printer's settings. Got into my printers settings there. Uninstalled web services. Reinstalled it. Got new PIN number and whooolaaa. Fixed it. Can now connect to webservices and email myself a scan!

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Photosmart 7520 Printer. I understand that you are getting connot connect to web services error and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well.
- Restart the computer, printer and router.
- Turn on Web Services from the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
- Check the Internet proxy server settings.
- Update the printer firmware.
- Update the router firmware.
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.
