Hi
I just purchased a Macbook Air and have set up my Photosmart B110 series printer and can print with no issues. I am trying to scan to test that and cannot get the scanning to work. My new laptop doesn't show up in the list on the printer and I cannot find instructions on how to add it. Also I cannot find the equivalent of the HP Solution Center to control the scanning from the laptop.
Can you please help.
Thanks

Have you tried Apple Image Capture?
HP Easy Scan might not find your printer if the software or driver needs to be updated. Try the solutions below, and then try to add your printer to HP Easy Scan.
-
Update HP Easy Scan: Open HP Easy Scan. On the upper bar, click HP Easy Scan, click Check for Updates, and then install any available updates.
-
Reinstall the print drivers: Click the Apple menu
, click System Preferences, and then click Printers and Scanners. Right-click or control-click the blank space in the list of printers, and then click Reset printing system. After resetting the printing system, go to 123.hp.com, search for your printer, and then install the recommended software.
Refer to the document HP Printers - How to Scan (Mac) for additional help.
