Hi @VJ4917

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your print job is not working, accessing the print queue is an important step to identify and resolve the issue. Here are steps you can follow to access the print queue on your computer and troubleshoot printing problems:

For Windows:

  1. Open Settings:
    • Press the Windows key on your keyboard and then click on the Settings icon (gear icon).
  2. Devices:
    • In the settings menu, select Devices.
  3. Printers & Scanners:
    • On the left side of the window, click Printers & Scanners.
  4. Select Your Printer:
    • Find your printer in the list of devices and click on it.
  5. Open Queue:
    • Click on Open queue to view your print jobs.

For macOS:

  1. System Preferences:
    • Click on the Apple menu at the top left corner of your screen and select System Preferences.
  2. Printers & Scanners:
    • Click on Printers & Scanners.
  3. Select Your Printer:
    • In the left sidebar, click on your printer.
  4. Open Print Queue:
    • Click on Open Print Queue to see the current print jobs.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Check for Errors:
    • Look for any error messages or warnings in the print queue window and follow any specific instructions provided.
  • Restart Printer:
    • Sometimes, simply turning the printer off and then on again can resolve connectivity or processing issues.
  • Clear Print Queue:
    • If there are stuck print jobs, right-click on each job and select Cancel to clear the queue. Try printing again after clearing it.
  • Reinstall Printer Drivers:
    • Outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause printing issues. Visit the HP support website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer.
  • Check Connections:
    • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. For wireless printers, make sure there is a strong signal.
