Pages printed from my M110w have vertical white streaks. When I tried to find a way to clean the printer heads by printing cleaner pages, HP Smart said that my printer doesn't allow access to the device maintenance or printer quality tools required to fix this issue.
Do I actually have to try to clean them myself manually or is there some other solution I can try?

@kekaAZ, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Vertical white streaks on printed pages can indicate a number of issues, such as clogged nozzles, low toner levels, or a mechanical failure within the printer. While the HP M110w printer may not have built-in or software-based maintenance tools, you can perform certain manual checks and actions to potentially resolve the issue:
Check the Toner Cartridge:
- Ensure that the toner cartridge is properly seated and not running low. Replace the cartridge if necessary.
Inspect for Debris:
- Open the printer and inspect any visible parts for debris or obstruction. This includes paper feed areas and rollers.
- Remove any objects that might interfere with the printing process.
Print a Test Page:
- Print a test page or use a configuration page to check if the issue persists across different types of prints.
Clean the Printer:
- Ensure that the printer and its surroundings are clean. Dust or debris accumulated inside the printer can lead to streaks.
Manual Cleaning:
- While direct access to printer maintenance tools is limited, you can gently clean visible parts of the printer. Use lint-free cloths and avoid liquid cleaners directly in prints.
Firmware Update:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer model from the HP website. Updating firmware can sometimes resolve minor bugs and issues.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.

I've done everything suggested. Resetting helped but the problem returned after I printed a few pages. I'm stumped.
As it's a laser printer there are no nozzles and there aren't many places to check for debris or obstructions. Test pages have the same issues.
I may just have to buy a new printer. I don't have hours to spend trying to figure out what's going on. This printer has had lots of other issues and I'm tired of the struggle to be honest.

Hey @kekaAZ,
Thanks for reaching out! Since the issue remains unresolved, I suggest contacting our phone/chat support team for personalized assistance. They can provide one-on-one help and may even be able to work their remote assistance magic to fix the problem.
Note: There might be a nominal charge for the service they provide.

Can you give me the phone number I should use? All I can find is information about renewing my warranty, which I don't want to do if I may have to buy a new printer. Which number will get me to someone I can talk to for that nominal fee? I'd like instructions to reach out to the chat, too.
As I said, when I click on anything to do with support, I'm always directed to renew, not that I can connect with someone for a fee. I'd like to have that information on hand for current and future issues.
