HP Envy5540  

Just changed the black ink cartridge today  and now the printer misses out alternate lines of copy.

All was fine before !

Tried cleaning to level two

Turning off

Scan/print doctor

Several alignment tests

..... is it the new cartridge or the software or what?

Well, in the end I used the inbuilt software to clean the heads 12 times and HuzzaH! the b****y thing started to work properly. I guess I was sent a duff replacement cartridge which was dirty !!!!!
