Despite being on the list of app compatible printers & scanners, the scanner refuses to scan from my phone. Why is this happening? How can I fix this without affecting my HP Smart? Actually I am on Android 11 on a Note 10+ but 9 was the highest this site goes.

@MassiveJB, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are not able to scan using the HP Smart app from your phone. Have you tried reinstalling the app?
Are you using the camera scan option or are you trying to place a document on the printer glass and scan it?
