Purchased a new HP printer and will be donating my HP C 410 all in one printer. Question is - are there any of my scanned documents stored anyplace in the printers memory? If so how do I delete them before donating or recycling the printer?

Hello, @Airport1969 - Hope you are well 🙂
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!
There is a very minimal internal memory for this printer model. This is only used to carry the printer firmware and also for the temporary jobs. No print / scan jobs can be stored in the printer memory.
Also to reset the printer and release all the memory, simply perform a hard reset. Follow the steps below:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
Cheers 🙂
