Hi  @Mauiowens,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand how it can feel when your printer is not collating copies as expected, especially when printing multi-page documents. I'll be happy to help you with this.

Before we proceed, could you kindly confirm the below details :

  • Are you trying to print multiple copies from your Windows 11 PC or make copies directly from the printer control panel?
  • Which application are you printing from (Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Chrome, etc.)?
  • When you print 2 or more copies of a multi-page document, do you receive:
    • Page 1, Page 1, Page 2, Page 2 (not collated)?
    • Or does the Collate option not appear at all?

In the meantime, kindly try these below steps and confirm :

  1. Check the Collate setting in the application you're printing from
    • Most applications (Word, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc.) control collation.
    • Select Print -Multiple Copies and ensure Collate is enabled before printing.
    • HP printers often rely on the software application's collate setting rather than a printer setting.
  2. Verify printer driver settings
    • Open Settings -Bluetooth & Devices -Printers & Scanners.
    • Select your HP printer.
    • Click Printing Preferences.
    • Check if any settings such as booklet printing, page order, or finishing options are enabled.
  3. Try printing from another application
    • Print the same document from Microsoft Word and then from Adobe Reader.
    • This helps determine whether the issue is application-specific.
  4. Test copying directly from the printer
    • If the issue occurs while making copies, navigate to:
      • Copy -Settings -Collate
    • Ensure the Collate option is turned On. HP documentation confirms that Collate can be enabled or disabled for multi-page copy jobs from the copy settings menu.

For additional guidance, please refer to this HP documents:

I hope this helps.
