I have a printer that will not print. I put the original copy on the glass and press print and it spits out a blank piece of paper. It says that it has plenty of ink. The scanner light does come on and the scanner does move across the screen. Do I just need a new printer? Or is there something else I can try?

Hi @Katie991
I'd like to help!
I understand the printer prints blank pages.
To assist better-
1) Are you able to print from your computer?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -
-
Load plain white paper in the tray.
-
Print the report.
-
Printers with a touchscreen or menus: On the printer, open the Settings
or Setup menu, touch Tools or Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report or similar.
-
Printers without a touchscreen or menus: Go to 123.hp.com or your app store to install the HP Smart app. Click the picture of your printer on the home screen to open printer management options that include the report.
-
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
