I’m trying to fax on my printer/scanner/fax  and every time I dial a fax number it goes to a busy signal on every fax number tried.  I looked in manual and everything is hooked up right so it isn’t an hookup issue.  Does anyone know why Im constantly getting a busy signal on each and every fax number Im trying! Please help, this HP isn’t very old.

Welcome to HP Support community.

Turn off the error correction mode

1. From the Home screen on the printer display, press the Up and Down buttons to select Fax, and then press OK.

2. Select Settings, and then select Advanced Settings.

3. Select Error Correction.

4. Select Off, and then press OK.
