Hi,

I need the scan to network folder feature. I am not sure this is working for the 6970...

If I read what is at the bottom that page, it works : https://www8.hp.com/au/en/printers/officejet-pro-6000.html

but when I read your responses i am a bit confused.

Can we really specify some network drive where the scans can be directed, without using the PC/Mac when scanning ?

(like it is on the HP 8600)

Hi,

The printer does not offer any digital filing capabilities, scanning can be done to a USB Stick or through the HP Software.

 

It can't scan to a network folder without using the HP Software as was available for the 8600 printer.
