When will full-featured drivers be available for these printers?  I just bought a new OfficeJet 9015 and have Mac 10.14, and I was pretty surprised to find that there isn't full support for this.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printer setup. 

 

I'm afraid there are no full-feature driver for this printer and HP Smart app is the one stop solution. HP Smart for Mac OS helps you setup, scan, print, and manage your HP printer. You can configure your HP printers, as well as monitor and order supplies.

 

Download and install the HP Smart app for Mac OS from this link. 

 

You may also refer to step#2 "Connect the printer with the HP Smart app" from this document.   

 

You may also try using the HP Smart Task. Smart Tasks is a feature of the HP Smart app. Use Smart Tasks to create one-touch shortcuts for printing, emailing, and saving documents. Please refer to this document for step by step instructions - HP Printers - HP Smart: Using Smart Tasks

The issue is that HP Smart isn't full-featured.  Unless I'm missing it, there is no way to set up Scan to Computer from HP Smart.  Which means that as far as I can tell, it's impossible to use a primary scanning feature (Scan to Computer) using a modern HP printer (OfficeJet Pro 9015) on a modern OS (Mac 10.14).  Is there some way to use that feature that I'm missing?  Thank you for your response.
