Dear Forum & Support 😉

I am facing the problem, the device list (computer names) provided on the scanner when using the scan-to option is "full" - meaning it does not accept any more entries.

My problem is, that this list is showing computers; i do not operate anymore, or old computer names, since those tend to change (on MACOS) under certain conditions.

I understand, that running a factory-reset might work, but I want to get around this option for several reasons if possible.

In another post here, users reported, the list would be deleted, when powering-off the printer/Scanner, but this is not working for me.

Since I am guessing others might have run into this issue, maybe someone can help me.

@HP: can you provide a tool or patch, which simply clears this list, but does not reset the whole printer?

Kind regards,

Thorsten

No,

An item will be removed from the list when uninstalling the HP Software from a computer, if this was not done and the computer is no longer available, restoring the factory defaults for the printer would be the only option.
