Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have setup an email address to use as the outgoing email address for the "scan to email" feature eg printer@mydomain.com. I have also added multiple recipient addresses into the Address Book to receive scans from eg colleague@mydomain.com etc.

However, the Outgoing Address is appearing in the Address Book. Apart from being annoying, it also seems to be selected as the default recipient when using the Address Book, so users might inadvertently scan to this address and not their own.

I can't find a way to prevent it from showing, can anyone help please?

@veryinteresting

Welcome to the HP support community.

There is no option to remove or hide the outgoing email address.

The email address will appear in the FROM portion of the email message sent by the printer.

Refer page number 15 in this user manual for more assistance:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.
