Hi @SHERRI772,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To scan multiple pages using the feeder on the HP Officejet Pro 8715 All-In-One Printer, you can follow these steps.
- Load the pages: Place the stack of pages you want to scan into the document feeder tray. Make sure the edges of the pages are aligned and the top of the pages faces into the feeder.
- Open the scanning software: On your computer, open the HP scanning software that came with your printer. This software might be called "HP Scan" or have a similar name.
- Select the scan settings: Choose the appropriate scan settings such as scan type, resolution, and file format.
- Configure page settings: Look for an option to enable or select "Document Feeder" or "ADF" (Automatic Document Feeder) as the scan source. This ensures that the scanner will use the feeder to scan multiple pages.
- Preview the scan (if available): Some scanning software allows you to preview the scanned document. If available, perform a preview to make sure all pages are detected and properly aligned.
- Start the scan: Once you are satisfied with the settings, initiate the scan process. The feeder should automatically pick up and scan each page in the stack.
- Save the scanned document: After scanning is complete, save the scanned document to your desired location on your computer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
