Hi i have read your answers to previos post which seem straight forward
My question is can the scanner only scan at 75, 100, 200 or 300 dpi?
I would like to scan some items I wish to blow up at a higher resolution - say 500. Is this possible?
thanks

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand you need information on scanning photos using a higher DPI setting,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Have you attempted to change the source settings from the printer?
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
- On scan popup window -
- change source setting from ''use document feeder'' to ''always scan from glass''
- This then allows resolution to be adjusted up to 1200dpi
- (600dpi is a good setting for details in old photos)
