  I need help connecting a setup on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e all-in-one printer for scanning to email.

Also, connect the HP Office jet Pro 8025e to my HP dESKTOP All-in-One computer.

Try these steps:

Prepare Your Email Account

  1. Ensure you have an email account (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) that you can configure on your printer.
  2. Gather your email account settings (SMTP server, port number, etc.).

Set Up Scan to Email Using the Printer’s Control Panel

  • Place the document you want to scan on the scanner glass or use the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
  • On the printer's control panel, touch the Scan icon or navigate to Scan.

Configure the Email Profile:

  • Choose Scan to Email, then select Email Setup.
  • Enter your email address and other required details.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the SMTP server, port number, and any authentication information required by your email service provider.
  • After entering the necessary information, touch Save to complete the setup.

Send a Test Email

  • Choose the email profile you just created.
  • Adjust the scan settings as needed (resolution, file type, etc.).
  • Touch Send to scan the document and email it to the specified address.

Connecting Printer to HP Desktop All-in-One Computer

  • Ensure the printer is turned on and the computer is running.
    • Use a USB cable to connect the printer to the computer.
    • Windows should automatically detect the printer and install the necessary drivers. If not, download and install the latest driver from the HP Support website.

Using a Wireless Network

  • On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon or navigate to Network Setup.
  • Select Wireless Settings and choose your Wi-Fi network.
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password to connect.
  • On your desktop computer, download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store or the HP Support website.
  • Open the HP Smart app and click Add Printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your computer wirelessly.

Using an Ethernet Connection

  • Connect an Ethernet cable from your printer to your network router.
  • Download and install the latest drivers from the HP Support website on your desktop computer.
  • Open the HP Smart app and click Add Printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your computer via the network.
