Product: HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One Printer

All of a sudden my OfficeJet All-In-One requires SMTP server authentication.  I've tried to re-enter my SMTP outgoing email settings several times now and I get the same message "SMTP email authentication required. Check your username/password and try again."  Ive triple-checked and everything is set up correctly.  any ideas?

HP Recommended

The printer cannot use the account password. A special "application" password is required as discussed here.

 

y.ahoo and g.mail and most ISPs required that you generate an 'app" password.
